What are Poffertjes?

(POH-fur-tjes) ~ Dutch Poffertjes are small fluffy pancake puffs, slightly sweeter than a traditional pancake. Poffertjes come 14 per serving and are made on a special shallow-dimpled griddle that produces the light, spongy, bite-sized treat. Traditionally they are served with butter and powdered sugar, but at Fanna’s "on the Fly" they can also be personalized to your own taste with an array of fresh, savory or sweet toppings. Our poffertjes are made fresh to order, from scratch, with love. Enjoy them as a sweet or savory treat any time of the day.
